Jesus is voice of the destitute-CPI(M) Kozhikode,Kerala,3rd February,2012

Jesus Christ is being declared and recognized as the voice of poor and the oppressed by CPI(M) in their 20th congress in Kozhikode,Kerala. Along with personality like Karl Marx, Lenin, Che Guevara they have displayed the picture Jesus chirst.

The Communists supported China’s attack on India in 1962 and also the Chinese nuclear tests, while vehemently opposing India’s successful tests at Pokharan. It is this formidable record of treachery that the Communist intellectuals are trying to erase by controlling institutions like the ICHR (Indian Council of Historical Research), NIEPA (National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration) and NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training). They have the now joined hands with the Congress in a desperate struggle for survival.

The Catholic church of the state of Kerala has strongly protested and have shown their discontent against this matter. Communists have never devoted to religion. They are of the view that since Communists are in serious position and struggling for their existence they have projected Jesus Christ’s picture to win the heart of the younger generation. The earlier icons like, Lenin, Stalin, Mao Tse-tung have failed to attract younger generation and as such they are seeking shelter to Jesus. They also have stated that for long communists were treading under foot the religion, believe and pryer to the god by people to spread their idealism, now their survival is in serious state. But if they change their philosophy regarding religion and sincerely come forward, it is welcome, but if it’s evil designed it should be handled strongly.
